Holistic Nutrition Consultation with Thei Udayan, Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist
I have personal experience with PCOS, hormonal imbalances, and the weight fluctuations that come with it.
I know how frustrating and downright depressing it can be with all the misinformation, being incorrectly diagnosed and just no one paying attention to YOUR specific case.
I want to help you fix the root cause of your issue and not just treat the symptoms.

“Trying to obtain the “perfect body”, little did I know how much damage I would be causing my future self.”
I have always been active, as early as I can remember, whether it was playing outside with my brother, sports at school or the many extramural activities I had participated in like dancing and horse riding. Growing up, my family had always been healthy, but never restrictive, so fast food and cookies made their appearance here and there.
As females there is always a point in our lives where we become body conscious, where we don’t feel comfortable in our own skins, thinking that we would be more comfortable in another’s, where body image became the focal point on defining one’s worth as a person. How sad right? During this time of trying to obtain the “perfect body”, little did I know how much damage I would be causing my future self.
“My personal frustration led me to study holistic nutrition and wanting to help people with understanding how food, emotions, and how the body works can help cure health issues.”
Fast forward a couple of years later where I found myself at the gynecologist being diagnosed with PCOS. I was prescribed certain medication and nutritional advice which at that time came from a Doctor, so it should be right, right? It couldn’t be further from the truth. Coming from a household that was predominately homeopathic, after a couple of months I stopped all medication and started doing my own research on natural approaches to take. It was by no means easy. There was a lot of reading and trying to understand research papers, trial and error when it came to testing a new method and one of the most important factors when it comes to healing, PATIENCE.
My personal frustration led me to study holistic nutrition and wanting to help people with understanding how food, emotions, and how the body works can help cure health issues. I want people to understand that these conventional ways of nutrition which have been preached for many years and harmful medications that are being prescribed may be feeding the issue rather than curing it.
“As I helped myself cure my own health issues naturally through the power of food, I want to help others do the same and, in the process, make them believe in the amazing powers of the body and to become their own super healer.”
There is so much information out there with regards to nutrition that it can become extremely overwhelming with understanding what may be right. I am not here to tell you what is right and wrong, I am here to educate and guide you on nutrition so you can make the decision for yourself. Because at the end of the day, a decision made by you and instead of others is something that you will stick to.
As I helped myself cure my own health issues naturally through the power of food, I want to help others do the same and, in the process, make them believe in the amazing powers of the body and become their own super healer.
No one should feel that there is no hope, that they have to be on medication for the rest of their lives, that the feeling of fatigue, constipation, bloating are normal and they just have to “deal with it”, that painful periods are something that has become a societal norm, that hormonal issues are only controlled by medication. Your body is capable of wonderous, just give it the right tools.
“I wanted to be educated and gain knowledge in really understating the body and how we can use food and natural approaches to treat the root cause and not just the symptoms.”
When I was looking at where I can further my education on nutrition it actually took me a long time to find the right fit. I didn’t want exhausted outdated information that had been regurgitated over decades, but yet our population is increasing in diseases and sickness. I wanted to be educated and gain knowledge in really understating the body and how we can use food and natural approaches to treat the root cause and not just the symptoms.
If you simply break down each one of us, we have 3 main components: mind, (mental health) body (physical and physiology) and soul (the part that makes you, you. Your unique spirit). All three of these aspects work together synergistically and just by beginning to heal one aspect, you will see how the positive domino effect.
When I was going through my healing process, I realised that all 3 played a part. If my mind was not strong enough to accept the time and patience it had taken to find methods for curing, then I would have given up too early. I had to find certain things that I loved doing to keep my spirits high as sometimes when you become too focused on the progression, you make actually put more stress on your body, let go, breathe, and just trust the process.
“I had finally found my perfect fit which was the holistic nutrition certification through the Energetic Health Institute and nutrition board exam by HNCB (The Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board), a division of the NANP (National Association of Nutrition Professionals).”
I had finally found my perfect fit which was the holistic nutrition certification through the Energetic Health Institute, which is run by a phenomenal naturopathic doctor (Dr. Henry Ealy), where they teach evidence-based Holistic Nutrition & Natural Medicine. While the majority of this certification is of course nutrition, mindfulness, mediation, breathing, how harmful self-talk can be and so much more in covering the bases of healing.
I then proceeded to take my studies further and do the nutrition board exam by HNCB (The Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board), a division of the NANP (National Association of Nutrition Professionals).
This keeps me up to date to provide my clients with the most relevant and important changes happening in the nutrition field.
